Born out of the excitement of adults for the brilliance and potential of youth to create meaningful change in their communities and the world. 

The Memphis YPAR Collaborative was developed as a result of the passion of three researcher-activists who recognize the importance of including and amplifying youth voices in research about them.

Empowering initiatives that reposition youth as experts and harness the knowledge and experiences of youth researchers and activists to create spaces that support young people’s development in collaboration WITH youth.
